The schedule has arrived. The Philadelphia Eagles are set to focus on their 18-week, 17-game grind. The hope is they catapult themselves into the postseason and make a long march to the Super Bowl.

Just in case you're one of about five people who missed the announcement, here's a look at the schedule we'll be locked on all season.

Four of Philly's games pit them against AFC North competition. One of those games earned them a very honorable mention.

The Eagles and Bengals face off in Week 8. That one's being viewed as one of the best games of the NFL campaign.

Around the NFL Writer Kevin Patra named ten games as his choices for the top contests of the regular season. An Eagles midseason tilt with the AFC North's Cincinnati Bengals barely makes the cut and takes up residency at ten.

The top ten games mentioned were as follows:

1. Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers
3. Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers
4. San Francisco 49ers at Miami Dolphins
5. Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers
6. Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans
7. Washington Commanders vs Dallas Cowboys
8. Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings
9. Detroit Lions at Houston Texans
10. Philadelphia Eagles at Cincinnati Bengals

Now we can argue about the list. How in the heck did any game featuring the Falcons and Vikings make the list? Why? Because of Kirk Cousins? Really? That alone is enough to make us ask that this list be thrown out entirely.

We could have added the Eagles vs Ravens or the Birds and Cowboys. That's another story for another day though. We'll just discuss the Eagles/Bengals clash.

These two don't meet each other often, but when they do, we are often left with much to talk about. Sadly, the more recent meetings haven't resulted in wins by our Birds.

Philly hasn't beaten the Bengals since Christmas Eve in 2000. Cincy has won three of the past five meetings. The other two have resulted in ties. Overall, they own a 9-3-2 advantage all-time in this series. Fingers are crossed that things go the Birds' way in this next meeting.
