Eagles RB Saquon Barkley channels his inner-Jazzy Jeff at Philly nightclub
He isn't the cultural flashbulb that Allen Iverson was. He isn't as loved as Bryce Harper yet. He certainly didn't take the City of Brotherly Love by storm like Terrell Owens did when he joined the Philadelphia Eagles. Saquon Barkley's arrival did make a few waves though.
He isn't from the area like D'Andre Swift or Haason Reddick. He didn't grow up a lifelong Eagles fan like Kenny Pickett or win a Super Bowl here like Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Nick Foles, and the other guys on that squad.
He is a Penn State guy though. He does have that going for him.
There's a chance, if he plays his cards right, that Saquon Barkley may join the ranks of Eagles and Philly royalty.
Saquon Barkley is a beast (if he's that same guy we saw in New York with the Giants). How's that for analysis? If he balls out and gives his all, Birds fans will love him and place him in their hearts forever. We all know that to be true.
He isn't quite ready to wear the crown as Philly's king though. That's okay. If he shows and proves, there's a chance he'll be invited to royalty's dinner table.
Settling in hasn't been an issue though. Recently, he channeled his inner-D.J. Jazzy Jeff at a local night spot in Philly. Give this one a look.
Nice song choice. Meek Mill's Dreams and Nightmares? Yep! That's going to win you a lot of fans around these parts!
