Nick Sirianni's seat is hotter than the Tampa sun as Eagles implode vs. Bucs

Things didn't go well early in Tampa, and as you might imagine, Eagles fans and legends noticed.

It took three drives for the Philadelphia Eagles' defense to remember they were well past the coin toss and kickoff. Unfortunately, by then, they had already surrendered 14 points. Things only got worse from there.

Brandon Graham notched a sack. After a rare Baker Mayfield incompletion, Philly finally forced the Bucs to punt... And, then Isaiah Rodgers blocked a Bucs defender into Cooper DeJean.

Coop had signaled for a fair catch. It didn't matter. Turnover... Bucs ball...

And, Baker Mayfield would score on a 4th-down run. 21-0... The blowout was on.

Nick Sirianni's approval rating is plummeting as the Eagles are being roasted on the field and off.

In a town like Philly, awful showings like these don't go unnoticed. We're talking about football's most passionate fans and a very aggressive media.

Then, there are the Birds fans spread all over the country who don't live in the Delaware Valley. Everyone agrees. This team has played disgracefully. Everyone watching has noticed.

Nick Sirianni began trending on X during the second quarter. We won't share any fan posts. Most are NSFW. As for what's happening on the field, there's so much to talk about. We'll let some insiders handle that.

Temperatures exceeded 100 degrees before kickoff. A scorching hot day has led to a scorching-hot start by the home team. Sadly, it has also led to a pathetic showing by the guys in green. The latter look like they've suffering from heat exhaustion since the opening whistle.

Sirianni's approval rating dips by the second. It's going to be a long to weeks with the bye on deck. Philly is a tough place to play. We all know that, but the Birds are giving their detractors plenty of ammunition.
