Any team would be happy with a 10-1 start to a long, grueling NFL season. For many, such an occurrence would lead to a deep postseason journey and vying for a potential Super Bowl. However, this Philadelphia Eagles team never felt like one that could raise the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season. Every week's game felt unpredictable. In the end, an 11-6 finish and humiliating loss in the Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs told the tale, and with that, we move on to another offseason.

After beating the Chiefs in Kansas City in an ugly game and beating the Buffalo Bills in a thriller in Philadelphia, the Eagles were blown out in back-to-back games by both the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. A brutal loss to the Seattle Seahawks minus Geno Smith followed, but nothing was worse than losing to the lowly Cardinals by a 35-31 margin, except for a 32-9 blowout postseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of course.

The Eagles secondary, plagued by injuries, looked like a shell of itself this season. After registering a historic 70 sacks in 2022, the front seven couldn't generate the same level of pressure on offenses, As Philly heads into the offseason, they have several areas to improve upon, and that brings us to Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman. He has a lot of work to do this offseason.
