One need only ask the Buccaneers about the Eagles and Nick Foles' QB artistry

An amazing fourth-quarter performance led to a Philadelphia Eagles win in Week 4. Now, the Birds hunt another road victory versus the NFC South when they tackle the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

These two teams have faced off 23 times, and Philly has won 11 of those games. The Bucs have been more successful as of late. They have taken four of the previous five meetings.

There may not have been a more impressive win than one occurring on October 13, 2013. Recently-retired Nick Foles was one of the stars.

Eagles vs Buccaneers: October 13, 2013

Despite opening the game with unfavorable field position, their 15-yard line, Philly's offense cruised 85 yards in eight plays. Nick scored on a rushing TD (yes, we said 'rushing'. A four-yard rush gave the Birds a 7-0 edge with 11:51 left in the first quarter.

On the Eagles' next possession, LeSean McCoy fumbled on the first play. Bucs DB Darrelle Revis recovered at the Philly's 40-yard line.

Tampa Bay wouldn't score a touchdown, but they would get three points. Rian Lindell connected on a 38-yard field goal to slice the score to 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.

The Bucs would score their first touchdown during the early minutes of the second quarter. Mike Glennon found his wideout Vincent Jackson for 24 yards to give their team a 10-7 edge with 14:54 remaining in the first half.

Philly would score again after marching 54 yards on eight plays. Nick Foles found DeSean Jackson for a 12-yard TD reception to reclaim the advantage, 14-10 with 7:13 left in the second quarter.

The Bucs would answer and take a 17-14 lead at the end of the first half and open the second half receiving the ball. Bradley Fletcher would pick one off. Philly drove 66 yards in five plays as Nick Found Riley Cooper from 47 yards out. 21 -17 in Philly's favor at the end of three quarters.

The fourth quarter would start with the Bucs draining seven minutes and 57 seconds off the clock, but the drive stalled. Rian Lindell connected on a 27-yard field goal.

Philly would seal the game with another Foles-to-Jackson connection and an Alex Henery field goal. A 31-20 victory was sealed and Philly went home happy

Eagles versus Bucs 2013 stat line

Nick Foles had himself a day in this victory as the Birds' quarterback, completing 22 of his 31 passes for 296 yards. He also tossed three touchdowns and scored another with his legs.

LeSean McCoy might not of found the endzone but he was a key cog in the Eagles' offense. He turned in 116 yards on 25 carries.

DeSean Jackson was Foles' go-to guy with six receptions for 64 yards with two touchdowns. Riley Cooper notched 120 yards on four receptions.

The Eagles' defense logged two sacks and one interception in the win. Connor Barwin and Bennie Logan each brought Mike Glennon down once.

DeMeco Ryans was flying all over the field in this game. He led all Eagles defenders with 12 tackles.
