One rookie to watch at each position during Eagles training camp

The Eagles' roster is loaded, but there's hope they'll find gems among their rookies. Here's who you will need to watch at each position during training camp.

The running backs are talented, but is there any depth at wide receiver and at tight end?

No one will tell you the Eagles don't have talent at the skill positions. Here's a look at some young guys with some offensive playmaking ability.

Hold on a second. The Eagles don't have any rookie running backs?

The Eagles currently don't have a rookie on the 90-man training camp roster at the running back position, but they have some young guys, Kennedy Brooks and Trey Sermon.

Still, it just feels like D'Andre Swift, Rashaad Penny, Boston Scott, and Kenneth Gainwell are the locks to make the roster.

Wide Receiver (We cheated and gave you two) - Joseph Ngata & Jadon Haselwood

We're just hoping everyone stays healthy here. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are all-world talents, but there's some drop-off when we look past them to Quez Watkins and Olamide Zaccheaus.

The rest of the depth chart features the likes of former undrafted rookies that the Eagles love but don't seem to believe in (Greg Ward), a track star who was too busy to show up to OTAs (Devon Allen), and a returner who was treated like a crash-test dummy (Britain Covey) among others.

If we had to gamble, we'd say Joseph Ngata and Jadon Haselwood won't make the roster, but if we're being honest, we have to tell you that we're hoping and praying that both of these guys have something.

Tight End - Brady Russell

We aren't certain if Brady Russell is being mentioned by default or because we're truly interested in him. Maybe it's a little of both.

Russell has a tough hill to climb if he's going to make the roster. Philly normally keeps three tight ends on the roster, and Dallas Goedert, Jack Stoll, Dan Arnold, Grant Calcaterra, Dalton Keene, and Tyree Jackson are all ahead of him.

The best thing he can do is make the most of every opportunity. We'll see how he performs when the pressure cooker is turned on.
