Round 5 - Pick 160 (via Buccaneers) - Marist Liufau, linebacker, Notre Dame

Marist Liufau has first-round talent, but there has been a lot of talk about him potentially being a third-day draft prospect. Some scouts agree with that. So do some of the mock draft simulations that we have run. Maybe that's due to him missing the 2021 season with an injury.

Here's where we stand. We liked how he looked in 2023. He collected 44 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble during his final season with Notre Dame.

Round 5 - Pick 170 (comp) - Zion Tupuola-Fetui, EDGE, Washington

You're going to hear a lot about the offensive talent from Washington during the pre-draft process, but Zion Tupuola-Fetui is a baller that can do work for anyone looking for an edge rusher on Day 3. He racked up 29 tackles, one forced fumble and 3.5 sacks in 2023.

Round 5 - Pick 171 (comp) - Carson Steele, running back, UCLA

Steele totaled 167 carries for 847 yards, 17 passes for 163 yards, and reached the end zone eight times as a receiver and runner. He would certainly elevate Philly's running back room as an immediate contributor.

Round 6 - Pick 210 (comp) - Sione Vaki, safety, Utah

We end this by selecting a reserve safety. Sydney Brown will probably begin next season on the PUP (physically unable to perform) and IR (injured reserve). Vaki racked up 50 tackles, an interception, and two pass breakups in 2023. He enjoyed a decent showing at Senior Bowl practice but wasn't overly impressive. He looks like a decent scout team guy who can develop into a nice special-teamer and eventual contributor.
