The extra free time during the holiday led to some wild Eagles theories, none of which has been solicited by Philly's leadership structure.

Before we make any other statements, it's time to plant a flag or two. The first carries a phrase that reads 'The Philadelphia Eagles don't need our help'. Trust us. We tried to offer our opinions at every opportunity.

Last year, we thought Howie Roseman wasn't working hard enough at the earlier stages of the offseason. We turned our noses up at the idea of canceling mandatory minicamp. We watched every episode of HBO's Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Detroit Lions knowing that the stars of the show were the Birds' first regular-season opponent... Then, we got worried when their practice sessions were more physical than the ones being held in Philly. Who would have thunk? Howie and Nick knew what the hell they were doing!

Howie built one of the best Eagles rosters that we have ever seen. Nick led his unit to the Super Bowl, so again. You won't hear a peep out of us. We still have that second flag to plant though. It too carries a phrase. We have a few questions that no one else seems to be asking.

Maybe it was that SEC football documentary we watched during the holiday. We forget the name, but there was something in there about Les Miles and that 'Mad Hatter' moniker. Now, we have all of these crazy ideas. Here are a few unsolicited theories about the roster.
