5. Josiah Scott, CB

As if the Eagles defense couldn't be more loaded, here is yet another position they are incredibly deep. This offseason, the Eagles added more to a crowded room at cornerback. They signed former second-round pick Greedy Williams in free agency, and he sits behind starter Darius Slay.

The team also drafted Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo, who will fit in right behind the opposite starter, James Bradberry.

At nickel, the Eagles will be starting Avonte Maddox. Last year, Maddox endured a hamstring injury which cost him eight games before he was able to suit up in the postseason. Behind Maddox is likely going to be Zech McPhearson, which would mean last year's backup nickel, Josiah Scott, is third in line at that position.

Scott came in and started four games last year and performed fine, but not good enough to warrant keeping him around. Because the room is so crowded this season, he's likely an odd man off the roster.
