Despite its flaws, Madden NFL Football remains the most popular NFL video game on the market. Gracing the cover of the game remains a dream for millions of young players, and for one player every year, that dream becomes a reality. This year will be no different, as the latest iteration of the game, Madden 25, is set to release later this summer.

Before the game is actually released, the cover athlete will be revealed. This year, the cover athlete will be revealed on June 11. This leads to the obvious question: Who will be on the cover this year?

Will an Eagles star be on the cover this year?

There is no shortage of solid choices for this year's cover, including a couple of members of the Philadelphia Eagles. Jalen Hurts has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL, and EA Sports could opt to throw him on the cover as a result. Hurts is a two-time Pro Bowler and an annual MVP candidate, and he led the Eagles to a Super Bowl berth a couple of years ago, so he certainly has the accolades. We happen to think he'd look pretty darn good on the cover.

Similarly, wide receiver A.J. Brown would be an excellent cover choice. Brown is an All-Pro and a Pro Bowler, and one of the most explosive -- and productive -- receivers in the entire league. Brown has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in four out of his five seasons in the league, and he's poised to put up big numbers again in 2024. Given his exciting style of play, Brown would make a stellar selection.

There's also new addition Saquon Barkley, who is a two-time Pro Bowler and was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2018. Perhaps EA could opt to put him on the cover following his defection from the Giants to the Eagles.

Only one Eagles player has ever graced the cover of Madden -- Donovan McNabb in 2006. Perhaps a second player will be added to that list this year.
