Terrell Edmunds, safety

Some are expecting little from newly-acquired safety Terrell Edmunds. There have even been whispers that there are no guarantees he'll make the team. We disagree with both statements. Everything from the Pittsburgh Steelers contingent states they were sad to see him go.

Edmunds spent all his first five NFL seasons on the other side of the Keystone State. He has 77 starts on his professional resume following 81 career in-game appearances. That includes two postseason starts, 422 tackles, five sacks, 26 pass breakups, and five interceptions have been the result.

We aren't expecting the splash plays that C.J. Gardner-Johnson provided. We are, however, expecting the every-down consistency that C.J. didn't provide.

Brandon Graham, defensive end

Brandon Graham has stated for a while that he would like to play 15 NFL seasons. The coming campaign will be his 14th.

After posting double-digit sacks for the first time in his career last year, arguments can be made that he could have traveled elsewhere to accept a larger salary. Instead, he settled on a team-friendly $5 million to remain with the only NFL team he has played for.

Write this down somewhere. A rotational role where he can go hunting will produce a double-digit sack total. Then, he will re-sign during the 2024 NFL offseason for one final run, a farewell tour. You aren't talking us out of this. That's how we see this playing out. No one should be shocked when that's what happens.
