Well, nothing's ever official until it is. We've discussed the recent Philadelphia Eagles coaching hires ad nauseam. There was just one issue. We never really saw any official announcement from the organization. On February's final Friday, and with the next NFL Scouting Combine scheduled for next week, that changed.

Pens have been placed on paper to sign contracts. The ink has dried. The 2024 Eagles coaching staff is official and assembled.

Shortly before lunchtime on the East Coast, an announcement was made by way of social media. Read 'em. Here are the official updates.

Nine new coaches were welcomed, including new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. We also see returning members from last year that have been granted new titles.

Here are a few things worth mentioning as the Eagles introduce us to the new hires.

Nick Sirianni, Michael Clay, Jemal Singleton, Kevin Patullo, Jeff Stoutland, Jason Michael, Aaron Moorehead, Jeremiah Washburn, Joe Pannunzio, Tyler Brown, and Eric Dickerson have all returned. One thing worth mentioning is four coaches have been but will wear new titles. T.J. Paganetti, Ronell Williams Tyler Scudder, and Tyler Yelk.

Paganetti, once a run-game specialist and assistant tight ends coach is now a run-game specialist and assistant offensive line coach. Williams, the former nickels coach, is now an assistant linebackers coach and defensive quality control coach. Schouder moves from assistant LBs coach to defensive quality control. Yelk, the former assistant to the HC is now HC Quality Control.

Christian Parker (Passing Game Coordinator/Defensive Backs), Clint Hurtt (Senior Defensive Assistant/Defensive Line), Roy Anderson (Cornerbacks), Joe Kasper (Safeties), Bobby King (Inside Linebackers), Doug Nussmeier (Quarterbacks), and Kyle Valero (Offensive Assistant) are the new guys. We tip our cap to all of them. Let's hope these guys give us a better product than we saw last season.
