#3: The Eagles must get better at the wide receiver position.

Philadelphia's needs are not just limited to the defensive side of the ball.

While running back and offensive line depth is in consideration, the Eagles badly need to add an explosive third option to their roster. Olamide Zaccheaus and Julio Jones are set to be free agents, while Quez Watkins has struggled to carve out a legitimate role or trust with the team.

With the team's current personnel, the Eagles need a crisp route runner who can consistently win in their matchups and challenge defenses down the field. The route running ability would give defenses pause, allowing Devonta Smith and A.J Brown to possibly avoid double teams and bracket coverage.

The deep threat ability would allow all three levels of the offense to be unlocked once again. Quarterback Jalen Hurts, with a full array of weapons, would have to opportunity to regain his MVP form and showcase one of the league's best deep balls.

It might not be the most obvious addition, but with a deep draft class filled with receiver talent, a meaningful addition to the team's position group could make a world of difference for the offense in 2024.
