We're just two weekends into our great nation's third month. The NFL and our Philadelphia Eagles have already given us tons to discuss. Between the four compensatory picks they were awarded and the well-deserved love fest Jason Kelce has been enjoying lies an area where we mull over mock drafts, prospect rankings, and theories about where the most sought-after free agents will land.

The Eagles need linebackers, running backs, and safeties, but they're also a little thin at wide receiver behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Might Philly look to free agency or the NFL Draft to find one?

If the former option winds up being the avenue they travel down, they'll have some options, but the guys we thought would dominate the headlines appear set to stay on their current rosters.

The Cincinnati Bengals slapped the franchise tag on Tee Higgins. The Indianapolis Colts have determined they will tag Michael Pittman. Mike Evans signed a two-year, $41 million deal to remain with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With those two no longer options for the Birds as potential acquisitions, our attention shifts to a top-ten list we feel we are proud of. We've stacked the guys who should be available.

Here's a ranking of the what should be the Eagles' remaining free-agent options at wide receiver.

Who would have thought? Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown' appears set to join his third NFL team since entering the league in 2019. His size (he's five-foot-nine and 180 pounds) probably ensures he's a lock to be someone's slot receiver, and what a dangerous option he'd be.

He tops our list and is followed by former Eagles love jones, Calvin Ridley. Darnell Mooney, Gabriel Davis, and Odell Beckham Jr. round out the top five. All are limited. Mooney and Beckham have dealt with injuries. Davis is a deep threat that can make contested catches, but he also struggles to free himself and can sometimes get off the line of scrimmage quickly. All have value in free agency though.

  1. Marquise Brown
  2. Calvin Ridley
  3. Darnell Mooney
  4. Gabriel Davis
  5. Odell Beckham
  6. Curtis Samuel
  7. Tyley Boyd
  8. Kendrick Bourne
  9. D.J Chark 109
  10. Josh Reynolds

The Eagles know Curtis Samuel for obvious reasons. He has often terrorized them from the other sideline. Boyd may be the odd man out in Cincy with the Bengals already set to have two expensive wideouts on the roster, Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase. Bourne tore his ACL in Week 8 and isn't the most athletic option, but can play inside and outside an is willing to do the dirty work.

D.J. Chark and Josh Reynolds are both recognizable names. Both have a lot of good football left in them. Honestly, we wouldn't mind if the Eagles extended Olamide Zaccheaus. He was a nice fit last season, but we'll learn what Philly is thinking soon enough.
