Eagles star James Bradberry doesn't have a flashy personality, and that's often a rarity in NFL defensive backs.

When people think about the NFL's top defensive backs, the names that usually come to mind are Jalen Ramsey, Sauce Gardner, and Darius Slay, among others. All are immensely talented. All have another quality that they share. They're owners of brash personalities.

Who can blame them? There's nothing wrong with a little trash talk, but that's only the case when you back it up on the field. Ramsey, Gardner, and Slay have made a living by preventing some of pro football's top offenses from having big days.

James Bradberry is just as good as any of those guys mentioned, but he's more of a 'prove it on the field guy'. He lets his play do his talking, and that's one of the things that we love about him.

As stated in Love's take, Bradberry has more pass deflections (99) than any other defensive back in the league since 2016. His current teammate Slay is right behind him with 98 PBUs of his own.

James led the Eagles last season with 17 pass deflections and was the only cornerback on the team who returned an interception for a touchdown. He also was the 2022 postseason leader for Philly in passes defended (two) while snagging the team's only postseason interception.
