Philadelphia Eagles training camp and their preseason will give us plenty to discuss.

The days of roster cutdowns during the NFL's preseason are gone. That means, as has been the case as of late, the Philadelphia Eagles will carry 90 men from now until September when they will be asked to trim their unit to a 53-man roster and a 16-man practice squad. Friends, you are going to be sick of talking about some of these guys before we arrive at that juncture.

The top of Philly's depth chart is set and won't change between now and final roster cuts, unless there is some weird addition or unforeseen injury. The fun part, and this is the case every summer, is there are several roster battles that will keep us talking about every moment.

Philadelphia made signings during the offseason process. Seven young Birds were added to the nest during the most recent NFL Draft. A nine-man undrafted rookie free agent class put pen to paper shortly after that.

There's an old saying, and it feels like it qualifies here, last in and first out. There are a lot of new faces on the practice field at the NovaCare Complex. Some belong to guys we can't guarantee will make the team.
