Satisfying every Eagles roster need by stealing two players from every NFC East rival

There is always room for improvement. There are always guys on other teams that we wish played for the Eagles.

The Eagles wouldn't hear any complaints by poaching the New York Giants' best player and a productive linebacker.

Sick Pick: Saquon Barkley - Running Back

Advanced analytics state if Saquon Barkley ran behind the Eagles’ offensive line, he would run for around 3,500 yards. Think of what he'd do in this offense every week. You have to think the Eagles are winning some games with a guy putting up those numbers. Add him to a winning roster. Tell him he'd be working with the guys of Stoutland University, and we probably aren't talking about a holdout.

Smart Pick: Azeez Ojulari - Linebacker

We are all in the same boat here. We don't just want Nakobe Dean to work out. We want him to thrive. We don't just want Nicholas Morrow to work out. We want him to thrive. Unfortunately, however, we won't know what happens until it happens.

The Eagles' negligence in dedicating the appropriate amount of attention to the linebacker corps is something we discuss constantly. One-year deals are often the roadmap for constructing this unit, and that has led to more disappointments than success stories (we're looking at you, Eric Wilson).

Azeez Ojulari only played in seven games in 2022, but the dude had 5.5 sacks, 13 pressures, 14 tackles, and only 2 missed tackles. Not all sacks are earned sacks, but Ojular earned each of his.

Now, if we're to be fair, the defense that Wink Martindale runs is pretty conducive to linebacker production, but still, those numbers are pretty good despite his lack of healthy playing time. Also, he has a very cool name. He gets mega bonus points for that.
