Some guys are supposed to play in certain cities. If you're old enough, you remember Michael Jordan rocking that Washington Wizards jersey. It never felt right, did it? Even if you despised the Chicago Bulls, you knew that's where he's supposed to be playing. Philadelphia Eagles legend Brian Dawkins in that blue Denver Broncos jersey? Come on. What the heck are we doing here?
Jalen Mills leaving Philly to join the New England Patriots in 2021 isn't as depressing as seeing Reggie White join the Packers. Still, if we're being honest, it hurt, so in light of some recent news, there are discussions about a possible reunion.
Eagles fans everywhere are discussing a possible reunion with Jalen Mills.
No one's perfect. You and I aren't. Jalen Mills certainly wasn't. There aren't many former who bit on the double move more often. We've probably never seen someone wag the finger more often when he had nothing to do with an incompletion.
We love the Green Goblin though. The dye job... The swagger... Jalen was a former seventh-round draft choice who played like he had something to prove. His teammates loved him. They seemed to work harder when sharing the field with him.
He's now a free agent. The rival Giants released him ahead of the Eagles' second preseason game. He had previously been om their NFI list with a calf strain. As you might imagine, there are talks of a reunion.

Mills, 30, was on the NFI list with a calf strain but is "healthy now," according to @AdamSchefter.

Should the #Eagles bring him back? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/zd94oQNfVA
I actually might have changed my mind on Jalen Mills coming back to the Eagles.

If it came down to having James Bradberry or Mills as a backup/rotational safety… I might lean toward Mills since he already made that transition years ago and has been solid.

What do you think? We always talk about the Eagles' need for depth. He's only 30 years old. He certainly brings a swagger every defense needs.
He's a Super Bowl champion. In five Eagles seasons, he notched 283 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions, 40 pass breakups, and a forced fumble. He also started four postseason games.
While his best days may be behind him, few would object to his return. Now comes the real question. Is this a reunion that the Eagles are interested in?
