Kavyon Thibodeaux, linebacker, New York Giants

The Giants' defense kept the club close enough against the Bills on Sunday Night Football. Kavyon Thibodeaux created pressure on quarterback Josh Allen but did not get a sack.

He collected four sacks over three weeks previously this year. His play through the first six games is one of the few positives for a stumbling New York squad.

The Commanders rank last in sacks allowed as their and the Giants' offensive lines are among the worst in 2023. Thibodeaux has a good matchup and Washington's offensive line needs to be wary of his presence to give Howell enough time in the pocket.

Thibodeaux has been the Giants' primary threat to tally sacks for the team. DJ Davidson and Leonard Williams are tied for second on the club with 0.5 sacks. New York has had trouble getting to the opposing quarterback, which is another concern for the franchise.

Considering the Giants' offensive struggles, their defense needs to perform well enough to keep them in games. The second-year player drafted out of the University of Oregon should be able to be disruptive throughout the upcoming game between the NFC East rivals.

Statistical prediction for Thibodeaux - two solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble
