Emmanuel Forbes, Cornerback, Washington Commanders

Commanders 2023 first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes collected three total tackles and one pass defended in the team's win versus the Cardinals and will look to follow that up with a solid showing versus the Denver Broncos and their quarterback. the often-discussed Russell Wilson.

Forbes and the rest of the Commanders' defense is capable of disrupting the Broncos offense this week. Wilson regressed significantly as a passer in 2022, and didn't look overly impressive in Denver's opener.

Were his struggles a product of bad coaching from former head coach Nathaniel Hackett? Sean Payton is an upgrade over him, but in Week 1, that didn't translate to fireworks.

Forbes should continue to make progress during this next challenge. The Commanders have a good defense, and the rookie will benefit if the rest of his teammates play well on that side of the football.

Prediction - Five combined tackles including two for losses, one pass defended
