D'Andre Swift, running back, Philadelphia Eagles
Running back D'Andre Swift has boosted the Eagles' rushing attack after being booted from the game plan in Week 1. From Weeks 2-5, he has eclipsed 14 carries per contest and has been effective while sharing rushing attempts with quarterback Jalen Hurts and Philly's other running backs.
The Jets rank 15th against the pass with 1032 yards surrendered through the air. They rank 29th in rushing defense having allowed 731 yards which equates to an average of 4.5 yards per carry.
Philadelphia's rushing attack ranks second with 820 yards through five games. Swift has 434 of those yards and ranks fourth in rushing. The Eagles running game has a clear advantage on paper entering this matchup.
If Philly has trouble generating consistent pressure against the Jets with their passing game, they can turn to Swift to help lead their offense. He has proven to be good at being the focal point of their offense in two contests earlier this season.
In Week 2 versus the Minnesota Vikings, the fourth-year player finished with 28 carries for 175 yards and a touchdown. He followed up that performance with 130 yards on 16 touches versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. The former Georgia Bulldog can make an impact for Philadelphia in this game.
Prediction for Swift - 19 carries, 102 yards, one touchdown, five catches, 27 yards
