Tony Pollard, running back, Dallas Cowboys

Prescott struggled mightily in the club's blowout defeat in Week 5 to the 49ers. Dallas could benefit from keeping the Chargers offense off of the field and an effective running game can help with that. Herbert has only one interception on the season and Los Angeles' offensive line has done a solid job protecting their quarterback as they have allowed nine sacks in 2023.

If Dallas' defense can hold the Chargers' offense, it will give the Cowboys' offense the opportunity to set the tone with their rushing attack. Considering Prescott's inconsistent play so far, it would behoove the club to consider giving Tony Pollard plenty of touches, particularly early in the contest.

The fifth-year running back has demonstrated his ability as he has averaged four yards or better per carry in three of Dallas' five games. Pollard can help them compete with the Chargers with a good game to take some of the pressure off of Prescott and the passing game in addition to the Cowboys' defense.

Prediction for Pollard - 14 carries, 78 yards, one touchdown, three catches, 17 yards
