CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver, Dallas Cowboys

During the Cowboys' most recent effort versus the New England Patriots on October 17th, 2021, wideout CeeDee Lamb obliterated the Patriots' secondary. Nine catches, 149 yards, and two touchdowns in Dallas' overtime win were the results of his efforts.

Lamb has led the Cowboys in receptions and yardage in two of their three contests this season. He continues to be quarterback Dak Prescott's favorite target on the offense.

The Patriots have not allowed a receiver to exceed 100 yards this year. This could be a challenging matchup for Dallas's top wideout.

New England has been tested by some stars in 2023. They faced the tandem of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith in Week 1. They earned the dubious task of defending the Miami Dolphins' dangerous receiving duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle during the second week of the season. They were forced to defend Garrett Wilson of the New York Jets in Week 3.

The Cowboys didn't have a good game offensively last week versus an Arizona Cardinals team that they should have defeated easily. Dallas won't win consistently be asking their defense to go out and win games for them.

They have good players on offense, Lamb included. They need to be difference-makers against one of the best defensive minds in Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. That's never an easy task.

Prediction for Lamb - 8 targets, 5 catches, 86 yards, one touchdown
