Three early options for the Eagles in the 2024 NFL Draft
Xavier Worthy, Wide Receiver, Texas
The defense can't have all of the draft season fun, right?
As great as the Eagles' offense has been, their number three receiver position has been inconsistent this season. Between Olamide Zacchaeus and Quez Watkins, the team has not been able to find the right complementary piece to A.J Brown and Devonta Smith.
While there are multiple wide recievers that could help in this regard, Texas's Xavier Worthy could add a new element to the Eagles' offense.
Worthy, in his three seasons at Texas, has been a force down the field for the Longhorns' offense. The speedster has 2,537 yards and 25 touchdowns on 181 receptions. He also has a career ADOT of 13.8 and 42 career contested catches.
Worthy would unlock the deep ball element of the Eagles' offense again. He would take the top off of oppsing defenses, giving Brown, Smith, and Goedert more room to consistently operate. In short, adding a player like Worthy would help elevate the Eagles' offense to the next level.
