So, how are those defenses performing for you during what's been an interesting NFL Fantasy football season?

The world of Fantasy football rightfully revolves around standout skill players, but it's important to avoid overlooking defensive units as they make a huge difference every week. A poor outing could sink a team in a loss, while a great one could give the team just enough of an edge to secure a victory.

That becomes especially true when teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions are on a bye week. Those are two top-12 scoring Fantasy defenses, so adding a reliable streaming option to pick up the slack is as important as ever. Let's take a look at the top options for the Week 9 NFL slate.

Stream Las Vegas Raiders D/ST (vs. New York Giants)

The Las Vegas Raiders have been stepping it up on the defensive side of the ball. Head coach Josh McDaniels' squad has allowed an average of 20.0 points over its last four games and has tallied seven takeaways in that span. That includes a dazzling pick-six from cornerback Marcus Peters in Week 8.

Next up on the schedule is a matchup against the New York Giants. The struggling NFC East team is allowing the most Fantasy points to opposing defenses this season, mainly due to the fact that its offense is not clicking in any sense. The Giants are averaging a league-worst 11.9 points per game.

Las Vegas has scored at least 9.0 Fantasy points in three of the last four weeks and is only rostered in 11.8% of ESPN Leagues. Not only that, but the Raiders then face the New York Jets in Week 10. That means back-to-back great outings is a realistic outcome for a team looking to be in the playoff race.
