Another summer training camp approaches for the Philadelphia Eagles, and it's hard to avoid the accompanying adrenaline rushes.

It's hot outside. It feels like the sun is shining a little more brightly, and Major League Baseball's All-Star Game is in our rearview mirror. That can only mean one thing. It won't be long until the Philadelphia Eagles report to training camp. The rookies report on July 25th. The veterans report on July 27th, and the questions are aplenty.

Missing two games cost Jalen Hurts the MVP trophy. He'll be back. How does he follow up a phenomenal second full season as Philly's starting signal-caller?

The offense is still intact. Isaac Seumalo is gone, but the Birds have two young studs waiting in the wings. Cam Jurgens and Tyler Steen will compete for the opportunity to replace Seumalo in the starting lineup while the defense saunters on after setting new benchmarks weekly before being forced to replace their starting middle linebacker, their top two safeties, and the best young interior defensive lineman they had on the roster.

We could go on, but you get the idea. There will be no shortage on content to discuss.

More news about Eagles training camp will be made available as we near July's end, but as far as we're concerned, the players can't report fast enough.

There aren't many regular occurrences on the calendar that rival the dawn of Eagles training camp. They'll need to make the most of every opportunity as the regular-season schedule is a much tougher gauntlet than it was last season.

Their opponents' 2022 win percentage is .566. Four of their six first games are road contests. They battle seven consecutive 2022 playoff teams from Week 9 to Week 16.

They will host the Indianapolis Colts for one joint practice on Tuesday, August 22nd ahead of their preseason finale versus Indy on Thursday, August 24th. Prior to that, they meet the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 on Saturday, August 12th at 7 p.m. EST.

They face the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 on Thursday, August 17th. That one kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EST. As was the case last season, a joint practice will be held before that game as well, but this time, Philly hosts the practice at the NovaCare Complex.
