Following a 15-day break, the Eagles square off with the Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football.

Sometimes, you have to find joy in discovering silver linings in the dark clouds. As tough as it was for the Philadelphia Eagles to tackle two games in a five-day span, things couldn't have worked out any better for the Birds.

They stand at 2-0 after a pair of games. The condensed Week 2 schedule precipitated a mini-bye. They will have rested 15 days before they step on a playing field again.

Philly's first two games were costly from a physical standpoint. Starters were lost to injury. Nakobe Dean and Avonte Maddox landed on the injured reserve. We have seen everything from rib injuries to an unfortunate concussion.

The Birds are back to work. They played the first game of the Week 2 slate. They'll play one of the final games of Week 3. There are two NFL games on Monday.

Monday Night Football in Week 3 will feature the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After playing their home opener, the Eagles are back on the road. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the opponent. These two meet on Monday, September 25th at 7:15 p.m. EST.

Another game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. EST. That one features two teams that met in Super Bowl LVI, the L.A. Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. That meeting ended with a 23-20 victory and a Vince Lombardi Trophy for Los Angeles.

We'll watch that latter game's replay on NFL Plus. We don't intend on missing any snaps of the game being played in Tampa.
