3-2. Monday, October 16th. MNF Week 6. 2-2. Cowboys -1.5. 123. ABC, ESPN. 13. 8:15 p.m. EST

Well, things didn't go as we hoped they would on Sunday. The Philadelphia Eagles failed to take care of business versus the New York Jets. The Washington Commanders earned themselves a win versus the Atlanta Falcons in 'The Dirty'. That sucked, but the New York Giants helped us end the night on a high note.

They played well early but ultimately stunk it up again when they needed to close the show. A loss versus the Buffalo Bills drops them to 1-5 on the season. Hey, don't look at us. You aren't going to hear any complaints this way.

It would have been nice to see every NFC East team lose EXCEPT the Eagles. Well, we guess we have to settle for a San Francisco 49ers loss. Philly failed to take sole possession of first place in the NFC as a result though.

Might we see another NFC East rival lose in Week 6? From where we're sitting, that sounds like a great way to spend the evening. The best part is it could happen. Kick your feet up and watch one more game on Monday.
