The Eagles secondary continue to get healthier, for the most part, but what's Jordan Davis's status for Week 8?

It's been quite the week. The Philadelphia Eagles' secondary is getting healthier, for the most part. There's still this thing with Bradley Roby's shoulder, but Reed Blankenship returned to practice as a full participant. It appears that he's ready to go for Sunday's game versus the Washington Commanders.

Then, there's this other thing. Perhaps you have heard. Philly landed via trade one of the best safeties that they could have acquired. Can you believe it? Kevin Byard is an Eagle now!

We can't for the life of us figure out why the Tennessee Titans still answer the phone when Howie Roseman calls. That's another story for another day though. Let's discuss Week 8's injury report.

Jordan Davis is questionable for Week 8's Eagles game. Cornerback Bradley Roby has been ruled.

Well, this isn't what you want to see. Eagles second-year interior defensive lineman Jordan Davis popped up on the injury report on Friday. It appears he has a hamstring injury. Bummer...

He's questionable for Week 8's game versus the Commanders, but here's an honest question. Why risk it? Why take any chance of him further injuring himself?

We'd suggest letting him sit this one out. Philly should be fine with Fletcher Cox, Jalen Carter, and Milton Williams. The latter has been working through a heel injury, but he was a full participant at Eagles practice on Friday. Check out the rest of Philly's injury report below.

As you can see, Bradley Roby has been ruled out which means we expect to see Josiah Scott man the slot cornerback duties.

The Commanders released their Friday afternoon injury report as well. Linebacker Cody Barton and guard Saahdiq Charles are both out. Here's a look at Washington's full injury report as well.

Notice that defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis and wide receiver Curtis Samuel are both questionable. Practice squad elevations will be announced on Saturday. We expect Julio Jones to be among the Eagles that are mentioned. Game day inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.
