Though there was an admitted nervous feeling ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders game, most Birds fans had a little juice for several reasons. The biggest elixir might be that guy who wears the Number 26 jersey.

The NFC Championship Game couldn't have started any better than anyone could have hoped, minus a long Commanders drive to get the action started. The good guys went yard on their opening play of their opening drive.

Saquon channeled his inner-Wilbert Montgomery for some NFC Championship Game magic.

Actually, the first two TDs came courtesy of Barkley, the rightful MVP who probably won't win the award. 26 made a little history in the process.

Saquon Barkley keeps using the Commanders to etch his name further in the NFL's history books.

Saquon's dominance of the Commanders continues. He entered the NFC Championship Game having scored 12 total TDs (eight rushing and four passing) vs. Washington. His two-TD showing in the rubber match places him in rare air.

He's the first player in NFL history to score multiple TDs of any kind during three games vs. a single opponent.

At this point, we don't even know why we're surprised anymore. This guy is truly amazing, and Philly is fortunate to have him.
