The moment has finally arrived as the 2026 Philadelphia Eagles officially get their season underway.
Eagles' 2026 offseason program starts, as the team will be coming in to attend meetings, work on strength and conditioning, and rehab. A couple of key notes are that this is not mandatory, as players can join if they want to, and there will be no on-field workouts, as it will all be inside.
This will continue for the next two weeks as the Eagles get ready for OTAs. Philly is still over a month away from OTAs, with the official date being May 26.
Eagles start their 2026 offseason program
There is going to be plenty of intrigue with the offseason program, and many Eagles are going to wonder what will happen. Obviously, many are going to wonder if wide receiver A.J. Brown is even going to show up at all, since he has been the subject of trade rumors, as a new report states that he is most likely going to the New England Patriots. NFL insider Mike Garafolo already shared that Brown is not expected to be there.
The next interesting aspect is how the Eagles respond for the first time, with new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion running the show. There have been high expectations for the new play caller after all the praise he received, but he faces a ton of pressure to deliver on the job after the rough season from former OC Kevin Patullo.
One other thing to keep in mind is quarterback Jalen Hurts and whether he will be in the facility after the backlash he has received over the last few weeks, with negative reports on him. Hurts should be involved in the offseason program as he has in the past, but how he responds will interest everyone.
