The first time, these two proud franchises met was 1934. This Washington Commanders team was playing in Boston then. Through the years, we've seen it all. There was a Body Bag Game. Then, Philly lost to this same team a few weeks later in the playoffs.

The vitriol between these two doesn't quite match Eagles vs. the New York Giants, Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys, or Commanders vs. Cowboys. That may soon change though. Washington is on the rise, but Philly's time is now.

Today's Eagles vs. Commanders NFC Championship Game details

That 1934 meeting between Philly and Washington was the first of 180 games played between these two since then. The Commanders lead the all-time series by a 90-85-5 margin. They won the most recent meeting, but the Eagles have taken 12 of the past 16 dating back to 2017.

Game Time

The Eagles vs. Commanders game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. EST kickoff. Lincoln Financial Field is the hosting venue and should provide the backdrop for an epic showing.
