Playing for nothing but pride, the Eagles managed to avoid a losing season by beating the Buffalo Bills 17-9.
Surprisingly Kevin Kolb did not play at all, and Andy Reid made sure his guys played hard to the end. Many other young players showed some good things in this game.
Akeem Jordan had an excellent game, Joselio Hanson continued to impress, Brent Celek caught his first career touch down, Victor Abiamiri pressured the QB well, Stewart Bradley made a few plays, and Winston Justice did a nice job at right tackle.
Donovan McNabb looked very sharp for most of the game, and continues [...]

Eagles Are Not Losers
Eagles Sign Magician For 5 Years
Jon Dorenbos could have tested unrestricted free agency, and with the scarcity of long snappers in the league, he would have probably gotten a pretty sweet deal somewhere in the league. But he bypassed that opportunity and instead signed a five-year contract extension on Saturday that keeps him an Eagle through 2012.”There is no other team I wanted to be with except these guys,” said Dorenbos, who joined the Eagles last year after Pro Bowl long snapper Mike Bartrum suffered a career-ending back injury. “This last year is the happiest I’ve been, I would say, overall, in my entire life.”

Battle For Mediocrity
This game is truly as meaningless as it gets. Neither team is playing for a playoff spot, nor are they playing for a top draft pick. This is the game for mediocrity. Both the Eagles, and their opponent the Buffalo Bills are 7-8, and trying to at least not finish the season with a losing record.
The Birds have played great football lately, winning the past two games over the Cowboys and Saints, but it is too little too late. Optimists will say if not for the muffed punts(green bay), and the 97 yard miracle(bears), the Eagles could potentially have finished [...]
GameDay: Eagles vs Saints
Eagles Sign Corner Back Davis
Tanard Davis was signed today off the Carolina Panthers Practice squad. To make room on the roster the Eagles released Wide Receiver Michael Gasperson.
This news is so big, I can hardly contain my excitement.

Eagles March All Over Aints
Bust out the bags Saints fans. The Eagles have just ruined your season. In an offensive explosion, the Birds beat New Orleans 38-23.
Number Five was McNabbulous as he completed 24 passes out of 35 attempts for 263 yards, and 3 touch downs. McNabb’s mobility continues to improve, as he escaped sacks, and bought time with his legs. Donovan also chipped in with a long run of 40 yards, which was fumbled, and then recovered in the end zone by Kevin Curtis for a touch down.
In the third quarter Curtis hauled in a seven yard pass, which put him over 1,000 [...]
The Eagles were unable to take Terrell Eldorado Owens out in last Sunday’s game, but the Carolina Panthers handed him his annual injury. The Football Gods have finally answered my prayers.
In an eerily similar image to Owens being hurt in 2004, T.O.’s leg was bent behind him awkwardly as he was being tackled. Clearly Owens was hurt, as he hobbled off the field(again refusing to be carted) and left the game for X-rays.
No updates yet, but speculation is that he suffered a high ankle sprain. That is exactly the same initial report back in 2004. The next day they then reported [...]
Young Birds Set To Take Flight
Being eliminated from the playoffs sucks, but there can be some good to come out of a bad season. Remember 2005 when they Eagles went 6-10? I hate to bring up that awful year, because most people just remember that bum Mike McMahon, and the end of T.O. as an Eagle. A lot of good came out of that second part of the season. Once the Birds were out of contention, Andy Reid started to mix in numerous young players. During that second half of the year Reid found out that he had a few players there.
Reggie Brown emerged at wide receiver [...]
The Coolest Bird Ever
Meet Franklin
Franklin spells better than most Saints fans do. Now all he has to learn to say is “DALLAS SUCKS!”.
In the January issue of Philadelphia Magazine, Eagles head coach Andy Reid and his wife Tammy Reid speak out about their sons’ struggle with drugs. Since the first major incident occurred early this year, the Reid’s have been very quiet on the matter. Here is a statement that Andy released on the matter:
“For the last several months, Tammy and I have struggled with the proper way to handle our family’s personal situation in a public platform. As many of you know, I chose not to answer or field questions for various legal and personal reasons. I wanted to instead focus [...]
“F**K DA EAGLES” Skank
This is Heather. She is the dumb Blondie who was caught on camera wearing the “F**k Da Eagles” shirt against the Eagles last year. Maxim noticed her, and decided to give this floozy a photo spread in the magazine. She’s got a nice body, but like most Saints fans, she should be required to wear a bag over her head.
Notice how her legs are wide open? That’s just easy access 24-7 like 7-11.
Heather tells her great story of how she left her trailer park in the swamps, and went to a Saints game. Her and her friends got wasted(big shocker there), ate [...]
