The Eagles 4th round pick out of UTEP signed a 4 year deal yesterday. Quintin Demps is the first Eagle to sign his contract, and he is ready to work.
With Brian Dawkins turning 35 this year, it was no secret that they had to look for a FS to groom behind Dawk. Demps had more interceptions(17) than any other player in this draft class.

Quintin Demps Inks
The Eagles continue to gain stability in the front office by extending their general manger’s contract until 2011. Heckert has been interviewing for other jobs the past few years, and the Birds wanted to ensure that he would not leave the nest.
The Eagles also made another front office move, by promoting Howie Roseman to Vice President of Player Personnel. Roseman will replace Jason Licht who was fired recently.
These moves won’t really change much, but instead keep the foundation in place. The Eagles have not won a Championship yet, but have been pretty successful since Heckert has come on board. I [...]
This is the shortcut version of the game. We all know this game ends in a bad way, but it is very entertaining to watch. The Birds defense did a good job of shutting down Randy Moss, but Wes Welker went off. A.J. Feeley had a gutsy effort, but his crucial interceptions to Asante Samuel cost the Eagles the game.
Enjoy.
Grading The Draft: 1999
I decided to really take a close look at how good the Eagles have been at finding talent in the NFL draft. I will go over every draft since Andy Reid has been here, and give each player a grade.
Now keep in mind Andy Reid has only technically been the GM since 2002, but he has always had a lot of input on who gets drafted.
Lets start with 1999:
Round 1, Pick 2 – QB Donovan McNabb, Syracuse
As we all know McNabb is the Eagles franchise QB. what makes this pick so great is the fact that all of the other [...]

The Flyers got blown out, the Phillies frustrate you, Barkley is a dope, the Eagles red zone was not so bad, there have been 100 consecutive losing seasons in Philadelphia, and plenty of news from around the NFL.
Here is the photoshopped picture of DeSean Jackson flying. Thanks to EaglesFans.com for this.

The Rise And Fall Of Koy
Professional holder Koy Detmer once rose up as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Unfortunately Koy’s run would only last for a little less than one complete game.
On this day in 2002 Koy rose up above the doubters, and the strange, neck bearded skinny boy from San Antonio tore apart the San Fransisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. Not having the strongest of arms, Koy relied on his great knowledge of the West Coast Offense, and killed the 49ers with accuracy.
His touchdown celebration in this game, now known as the Koy whip is legendary. Little kids all across the Delaware Valley still [...]
Birds’ Add Two Linebackers
The Eagles have signed BYU linebacker Markell Staffieri, and Cal U linebacker Gary Butler.
I don’t want to hate on these guys, but can you say camp bodies?

Eagles big time free agent signing CB Asante Samuel did a photo shoot a few weeks ago, and here are some great shots from it. Samuel may not be America’s Next Top Model, but he sure does look good in midnight green(no homo).
