Eagles Add Seven Free Agent Rookies

The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with the following seven rookie free agents Monday after acquiring 11 players over the weekend – 10 through the draft and another in a trade, RB Lorenzo Booker, with Miami.

Recorded 30 tackles, 1 INT, 1 FF and 1 FR during his senior year at Hofstra. For his career, finished with 2 INTs. Played football, baseball and ran track at Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, MD. As a team captain at DB, led his school to a regional championship as a senior and earned second-team all-county honors. Born 8/12/86 in Accokeek, MD.

Capped off a four-year career at Washington State with career highs in receptions (52), yards (512), and TDs (3) as a senior tight end. For his career, totaled 80 catches for 899 yards and 6 TDs, while scoring twice on the ground. Originally recruited as a linebacker to WSU, played his first two seasons as a fullback and linebacker before switching to tight end prior to his junior year. As a linebacker, earned Division II co-defensive player of the year honors at Mission Viejo (CA) HS, where his team won two Division II state titles and 41 straight games, until losing in the championship game of his senior season. Also played TE and FB in high school. His father, Michael, and brother, Jake, played basketball at Seattle University, while his brother, Lenny, played basketball at Cornell. Earned a degree in accounting. Born 3/3/86.

Earned all-state honors as a senior at Ware County HS in Waycross, GA, after leading his team to a state title. His favorite NFL player growing up was former Chiefs guard Will Shields. Majored in physical education. Born 3/12/85 in Waycross.

Tallied 1,791 yds. and 23 TDs on 75 catches, along with 19 carries for 187 yards and 5 TDs, and 7 returns for 2 TDs in his career at Lake Taylor HS in Norfolk, VA. As a LB and FS on defense, recorded 200 tackles, 15 sacks and 1 INT. Earned SuperPrep All-America and all-state honors as a senior. Was named first-team all-district in basketball as a junior and senior, and also lettered in track. Finished second in the state long jump competition as a junior and was third in both the long jump and triple jump at the state championships as a senior. Was a 2003 first-team all-district and honorable mention all-state performer as a senior at Ponca City (OK) HS. Was also a standout wrestler, winning the 2003 Oklahoma state title in the heavyweight division. Majored in social science. Born 1/14/86 in Ponca City.
