The Philadelphia Eagles week 9 injuries will have some major Fantasy Football impact. The Carolina Panthers head into Philadelphia for a week 10 Monday Night Football matchup. Mark Sanchez will be starting at quarterback while Nick Foles misses some time with an injury and that changes the Fantasy Football outlook for a few Eagles players.

1. LeSean McCoy – RB
When Mark Sanchez took over the week 9 game, the entire Philadelphia Eagles game plan changed. No longer will the quarterback be throwing 50+ passes a game. The focus of the Eagles shifts to the running game and no player will benefit from that switch more than Eagles running back LeSean McCoy.
While McCoy had a slow start to the season, during the last 4 weeks, McCoy has quietly had 4 solid rushing performances including 2 games with 100+ rushing yards. With the Eagles rushing the football more, McCoy’s Fantasy Football value will be very high in week 10.
The Carolina Panthers are currently ranked 27th in the NFL against the rush giving up 132 rushing yards a game. I look for the Eagles to feed Shady the football early and often which will translate into a great day for McCoy.

3 catches – 20 yards

2. Jeremy Maclin – WR
The last 2 weeks for Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin have been outstanding. Maclin posted a 12 catch – 187 yards – 2 touchdowns in week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals and then followed up that performance with a 6 catch – 158 yards – 2 touchdown game against the Houston Texans.
Mark Sanchez has spent the majority of his time in Philadelphia with the 2nd team offense so his chemistry with Maclin could still improve. Give him a full week of practice with the 1st team offense and I believe Sanchez improves his connection with Maclin. I don’t see another 150+ yard receiving game from Maclin this week but he still will have a great game.
Jeremy Maclin Week 10 Fantasy Football Prediction:
10 catches – 110 yards – 1 touchdown
3. Jordan Matthews – WR
The Eagles 2nd round draft pick has shown flashes of great play, but he still has room to grow. During the off-season and during the Eagles pre-season games, Mark Sanchez had a lot of time to develop a great chemistry with Jordan Matthews.
Sanchez showed how comfortable he is with Matthews when the two players hooked up for a quick touchdown once Sanchez took over the game in Houston. With a full week of practice and a full game as the Eagles quarterback, I look for these two to have a great game in week 10. Jordan Matthews’ Fantasy Football value increases sharply while Sanchez is at the helm.
Carolina ranks 18th against the pass and with the majority of the attention being given to fellow wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, Matthews will have his best game of the season. If you are looking for a high upside WR3 in week 10, Matthews is my choice.
Jordan Matthews Week 10 Fantasy Football Prediction:
7 catches – 80 yards – 1 touchdown
