As of the time of this article, there has not been a definitive course of action surrounding the time that this game will be played. There are whirlwinds of options, including the game being postponed until Week 8. Logistically speaking, this would ideally be a last resort option.
If you are starting any Philadelphia Eagles on your fantasy teams, you might want to have contingency plans in the event that the NFL decides to take delayed action. While the aforementioned Les Bowen tweet hints towards the game not being postponed, the NFL hasn’t exactly been predictable with their decision making skills.
As for the Redskins, they will be missing their starting left guard Shawn Lauvao. The status of wide receiver DeSean Jackson is in doubt as he hasn’t practiced this week. The loss of Lauvao will dramatically affect the performance of both Alfred Morris and rookie Matt Jones as he was graded highly in run blocking according to Pro Football Focus.
