This is happening. A kicker is one of the top things you should be thankful for.
If there’s one thing I’ve realized this season, it’s that Caleb Sturgis is the worst kicker since Ray Finkle and Cody Parkey’s absence has secretly killed the Eagles this season.

In two of their four losses with Sturgis on the roster, the Eagles have fallen short by three points or less. In both of those games, Sturgis had missed a field goal that could have either tied it or given the Eagles the lead.
People don’t give kickers quite the respect they deserve. Without a good kicker, points are a lot harder to come by and I think Eagles fans are starting to realize that. Parkey was easily one of the better kickers in 2014 and in 2015, he’s been sorely missed.
