It just feels like there’s been a revolving door at the cornerback position for ten years. It got worse when that college coach who shall remain nameless was hired. This team has tried everything. They’ve signed just about everybody. Nothing’s worked.

It just seemed like every game you expected the Eagles secondary to get burned deep at the most inopportune times. More often than not, that’s exactly what happened.

Here we are. We’re a few days away from another selection meeting. As we’ve said and heard often, we’re talking about the same things we were talking about a season ago. We’re still asking who the starting corners are and how this team is going to stop anybody through the air.

You know what? We’ve talked ourselves into it. Philadelphia has to take a cornerback in round one.
