Rasul Douglas, Cornerback

Rasul Douglas is a 6’2″, 209-pound cornerback out of West Virginia. He started his college football career at a community college in New York. Eventually he worked his way up to the Big-12 ranks after getting looks from several major universities. During his time at West Virginia, he shined as a play maker in the secondary. In 2016, he was tied for the most interceptions with eight picks. According to PFF, Douglas missed just five of 58 attempted solo tackles in 2016.

After the Eagles let go of Nolan Carroll and Leodis McKelvin, they are left very thin at the position. The only corners that are returning from last season are Jalen Mills, Ron Brooks and Aaron Grymes. Although they signed veterans Patrick Robinson and Dwayne Gratz, the position still remains wide open. In a division where the Eagles struggle against big receivers and hard runners, Douglas could come in and make an immediate impact.
