Jake Elliott, K

Jake Elliott may have gotten cut by the Cincinnati Bengals in the offseason but he got his second football life with the Eagles. His 61-yard walk-off field goal alone could’ve got him into the Pro Bowl. With Caleb Sturgis still on the roster, there is no telling whether the Eagles plan to keep him or not. But as of right now, Elliott is red hot.

Kenjon Barner, PR

Punt returns are where Darren Sproles was king. Kenjon Barner looks to follow in his footsteps with a Pro Bowl nomination as a return specialist. Just a month ago Barner was on the free agency market looking for work. Next thing you know he is back in an Eagles uniform returning punts once again. Crazy how the NFL works.

Donnie Jones, P

Donnie Jones, better known in Philly as “Donnie Long-Ball” has been the man with the leg for a while now. Since 2013, he has served the Eagles well not only as a punter but as a holder for field goals as well. He has yet to play in a Pro Bowl so who really knows if he ever will. It’s tough to stand out as a punter.

Kamu Grugier-Hill, LB

Kamu Grugier-Hill may be listed as a linebacker but he is mostly a special teamer. Similar to Safety Chris Maragos, Grugier-Hill’s contributions come from playing on the special teams. It’s not so much a bad thing if you get noticed as a potential Pro Bowler by it. After all, Maragos has made a solid career out of his stellar special teams play. Grugier-Hill is currently working on that.
