The pendulum may be swinging back in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles when it comes to the Seattle Seahawks.

Recent memory doesn’t provide a ton of great memories for Philadelphia Eagles fans when it comes to the Seattle Seahawks. Try five losses in the last six meetings on for size. Oh, and by the way, just in case you’re keeping score, Philly’s come up on the losing end the last three times these two have locked horns. To say history isn’t on their side would be understating things severely.

As of Sunday, it will have been 378 days since the Seahawks took the Eagles to the woodshed in 2016. The ‘Hawks opened the scoring on that day with the only points scored in the first quarter. It appeared that the Eagles had come to play as they blocked the extra point and eventually took a one-point lead early in the second frame, but when a long touchdown catch and run by Zach Ertz was called back because Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor couldn’t line up correctly, it appeared as though the wind left the sails on the Eagles sideline and never returned.

Momentum has swung yet again.

What a difference a year makes. Now, the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the favorites to reach Super Bowl LII, and the Seahawks are the team that’s struggling to put two decent quarters together.

The Eagles, at 10-1, are owners of the NFL‘s best record. The Seahawks, at 7-4, are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but they’re also in an unfamiliar position. They’re looking up at the Los Angeles Rams, who lead the division, and if they lose to the Eagles in Week 13 of the NFL season, it would further damage their chances at making the postseason.

As of Wednesday, November 29th at 8 AM EST, every oddsmaker on sportsbookreview.com sees the Eagles as the favorites. 5Dimes, BETONLINE, HERITAGE, intertops and youwager all see “The Birds” as 5.5-point favorites. BOOKMAKER, BOVADA and JUSTBET all favor the Eagles by an even six points.

We’ll all see how accurate all of that is on Sunday night.
