The Associated Press has named the members of its’ 2017 NFL All-Pro Team, and four Philadelphia Eagles found their way onto the list.

For most of the Philadelphia Eagles‘ fans, 2017 may always be a season where fans ask themselves what could have been. That can be said for two reasons. One, many believe the chances of the Eagles raising the Lombardi Trophy have dwindled down to nothing without their second-year signal caller, Carson Wentz. Second, it appeared that this season’s version of ‘The Birds’ represented the best chance this organization has had at winning a title in quite some time.

The pain of ‘what could have been’ will haunt this team and its’ fans until Philly can actually deliver ‘Eagles Nation’ a title. That is, of course, if everyone is correct in their assumption that the Eagles won’t be winning the Super Bowl this season. Still, there are reasons to be encouraged. The Eagles have a bright future thanks to some cornerstones and some young stars.

It starts with Wentz and includes three of his teammates who share the honor with him of being voted to the 2017 NFL All-Pro Team.

The AP recognizes some of the NFL’s brightest.
