Fletcher Cox, DT

Fletcher Cox’s performance last week was one to remember. He had seven tackles along with a sack to add to his stellar afternoon. Those who weren’t aware of Cox’s dominance before last week’s game are definitely aware now. Some may say that the Eagles won because of the way Cox played and that statement would not be a stretch.

This week, Cox faces a hot Minnesota offense. Although the Vikings line has been decent with their quarterback protection this season, this week will be their biggest test. Listen, the Eagles defensive front is for real. With Cox leading the way, pressure can come from any angle.

When offenses plan to double-team Cox up front, somebody else gets through. And even when Cox is double-teamed, he always seems to find a way to power his way through. We’ve seen him blast right through blockers and we have also seen him push blockers all the way back into the quarterback. The Vikings offense has looked decent, but things may get sloppy for them this weekend if Cox continues his hot streak this week.
