Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is listed as questionable as the NFC Championship Game versus the Philadelphia Eagles approaches.

You just can’t get away from injuries in the NFL. No one knows this better than Philadelphia Eagles fans. It’s unfortunate when they happen, especially when  it takes one of the game’s great talents off of the field. When fans tune into games, they typically don’t want to see the guys who are only playing because the guys we actually want to see can’t go.

Injuries are even more unfortunate around this time of the year as the teams who have Super Bowl aspirations want to keep everyone as healthy as possible. For the Minnesota Vikings, on Thursday, both wide receiver Adam Thielen and safety Andrew Sendejo practiced but were limited.

Thielen’s been dealing with a lower back injury that forced him to sit out of practice on Wednesday, and Sendejo is still in the NFL concussion protocol.

What does this mean for the championship game?

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer states that Thielen is, now, questionable for Sunday. That same information was relayed on the team’s official Twitter account.

What now?

Thielen was also limited on Friday’s practice, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. If he can’t go, the Vikings will need Laquon Treadwell, Michael Floyd and Jarius Wright to step in and fill the void. When asked about his own injury, Thielen has said he’s fine, and there’s really no reason to believe he won’t play.

This is the NFC Championship Game. If these guys have anything to say about it, they’ll be on the field. So far this season, Thielen’s registered 97 receptions for 1,350 yards, and he’s reached the end zone four times.

With or without Thielen, the Eagles secondary figures to have their hands full all day as Stefon Diggs will also be on the field. He registered 849 yards on 64 receptions during the regular season, and he scored eight touchdowns.

We really don’t have to tell you what he did in the Vikings last playoff game, do we?
