It’s official. The Philadelphia Eagles are on their way to Minnesota and on their way to Super Bowl LII.

For the first time since December 17th, the Philadelphia Eagles will need to leave ‘The City of Brotherly Love’ to play a football game. That’s okay though. That means the next game they play in will be in Minneapolis, Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium

In other words, they have a date with the New England Patriots on February 4th in the 52nd Super Bowl in NFL history. Eagles insider Dave Spadaro shared a little live footage as the team left the Novacare Complex to board a bus to take them to the airport.

Take a look.

Now, that’s pretty dog gone cool.

The Eagles assured themselves that every playoff game that they would be a participant in would be played in the friendly confines of Lincoln Financial Field when they took care of business against the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football in Week 16.

Thanks to that win, they haven’t had to leave Philadelphia since before Christmas. Two playoff games and wins have gotten them in this position, and now if they win, they’ll return with the first Lombardi Trophy the Eagles have ever won. It’ll also be time to plan a parade the citizens of Philly and Eagles fans all over the world have dreamed about for a long time.

This team is inches from a world title, and, win or lose, Eagles fans wanted to make sure they showed up to wish a prosperous journey to their team. There’s been a lot to cheer about in 2017, and one week prior to Super Bowl LII, it hasn’t been any different.

The Eagles are one win away from football immortality. They know it, and so do their fans. Everyone’s aware of the stakes. Every Eagles fan is hoping for the win of a lifetime.

Up next is a week’s worth of media coverage and, then, a very important game on February 4th.
