Jason Peters confirms that he will return next season
Philadelphia Eagles veteran left tackle, Jason Peters tells the Super Bowl media that he plans to return next year.
The Philadelphia Eagles attended their first Super Bowl media day since 2005 on Monday night. While most of the young players got their first taste of the big stage, some have been here before. For some Eagles’ veterans, they have finally reached the ultimate level that they have not been able to get to yet.
For Eagles 14-year veteran Jason Peters, this will be his first season on a Super Bowl team. Unfortunately, he will spend it on the injured reserve like some of his other teammates. Peters, who has spent 10 years on the Eagles suffered a devastating season-ending injury during the 2017 season.
After being carted off the field on Monday Night Football, it almost felt like the successful 14 year-run for Peters was coming to a rough end. But after spending some time away from football, Peters has joined his team back on the Eagles sideline for the final two games at Lincoln Financial Field. Although he will not be playing in Super Bowl LII, the media still caught up with Peters on opening night. What he revealed could be exciting for the Eagles fan base.
Peters plans to play:

Jason Peters told Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer that he plans to return next season. Although Peters is signed on to be on the Eagles through next season, there is still a possibility that he may not be on the roster for next season.

As you may know, the Eagles cap situation is not among the leagues best. During the offseason they took a gamble on some free agents that ended up paying off. But now the Eagles have a very tough decision to make regarding Peters. Will they keep Peters on board for a final season? Or do they save some cap space and give Halapoulivaati Vaitai the job for 2018?
