Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery has three words for the Patriots
If you haven’t heard this one already, you’re in for a treat. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has three words for the Patriots.
It’s almost impossible to keep up with all the comings and goings of what goes on during Super Bowl media week. You almost have to check out what you can and get caught up on everything else. Such is the case for Philadelphia Eagles‘ receiver Alshon Jeffery.
There’s one staple to media week. After a few days, the questions can get to be pretty stale and recycled. To their credit, the media’s learned that over the years, and they’ve tried to do things to keep the players engaged. They invite media from platforms that may not be sports centered. That leads to another perspective. You may see comedians walking around with microphones. It can be pretty fun at times.
Unfortunately, even with all that, by the end of the week, players are answering questions that they’ve answered all week.

Those who are worried about how the inexperienced Eagles might handle the bright lights of media week can breathe a little easier. So far, things have gone well. They’re loose. They’re relaxed. Smiles are all over the place.
Take Alshon Jeffery for instance, during his first day at the podium, he was asked if there was three nice things he could say about the Patriots. That proved to be a daunting task.
Still, after collecting himself and flashing that smile that he’s flashed all season, he collected himself and eventually came up with something. He may not have come up with three things, but he came up with three words. His response? “Fly Eagles Fly”!
Here’s some of his conversation with the media on opening night.
