Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz is getting married
Congratulations to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. He’s getting married.
The good news just keeps on rolling for the Philadelphia Eagles family. On Saturday, two of their former players were announced as the latest entrants into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Former Eagles safety Brian Dawkins and former Eagles receiver Terrell Owens will both give a speech at Canton, Ohio. Then, on Sunday, the Eagles won Super Bowl LII over the mighty New England Patriots. Now, there’s more good news. This time it comes in the form of Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.
The Eagles signal caller asked his girlfriend, Madison Oberg, to marry him, and she said yes. Mr. Wentz made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
Take a look.
Hey, you have to admit. The ‘Maddie and I both got us a ring’ line is pretty cool.
Congrats to the future Mr. and Mrs. Wentz.

Wentz and Osberg went public with their relationship when the Eagles starting quarterback shared a photo on Instagram of his beautiful bride-to-be standing next to him following his surgery to repair his torn ACL.
It’s his words that caption the photo the best. “The Lord truly blessed me with this beautiful young lady to walk by my side and support me through all of this!”
Now, there’s a wedding to plan before Wentz prepares to rehabilitate and prepare for his third season in the NFL. He’s set the standard pretty high after his second. No one doubted he would fail before, but now, with the added motivation, we’re reminded of a few things.
Next: Would Malcolm Butler’s presence have mattered?
One, life is more about football. Wentz’s decision is further proof that he’s focused on doing things the right way. Second, we all know that behind every good man is a good woman. Third, with this added motivation, we should all anticipate a speedy recovery and an even better Wentz than the one we last saw.
Congratulations to QB1.
