If there was ever an MVP award that could be given for Super Bowl, it would have been given to Jason Kelce.

You can place Jason Kelce, firmly, in the hearts of Philadelphia Eagles  forever. If you’re a fan, you’re already aware of what took place on Thursday afternoon. Casual fans of this great league that we call the NFL may have heard the news later. Whatever the case, the Eagles and their fans celebrated their first-ever Lombardi Trophy with a parade and a ceremony at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on February 8th of 2018.

The parade began at around 11 AM EST. Then, just about three-and-a-half hours later, sometime around 2:30 PM EST, Eagles center Jason Kelce stole the show with, quite possibly, the greatest speech that’s ever been made at any Super Bowl parade.

Take a look at Kelce’s speech in its’ entirety.

That’s game set and match. This one will live on forever.

Here are three things we learned from Kelce’s epic rant.

More from Inside the Iggles

1. Never tell grown men, especially professional athletes, what they can’t do.

Some people are motivated when you pat them on the back. For some, they love to be cheered. They love positive reinforcement, and that’s totally okay. Then, there are the other types of people. There are some people who are ignited by the phrase ‘you can’t’.

Never tell a competitor what they can’t do. They might just go beat one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history in the Super Bowl.

2. This team is close, and they’re unified.

In some NFL locker rooms, it’s just like your office. People are coworkers, but they aren’t really friends. This Eagles team was different. There were no stories of infighting. There were no public beefs. This team was a collection of great guys who genuinely loved and cared about one another. It showed on the field, and it helped them bring the first-ever Lombardi Trophy to Philadelphia.

3. When you win, you can wear what you want to.

This one really doesn’t need an explanation does it? Who knows what Jason Kelce was wearing? Well, we actually do know what it was. Kelce’s outfit was a tribute to Philly’s Mummers Parade. If you’re not from Philly, you may be confused. If you’re from Philly, you still may be confused. Either way, it was fine with anyone who’s ever cheered for this team because Kelce was a part of this team. This team will be remembered and loved forever.

So will that speech.
